Dr. Lauren Orvin
Dr. Lauren Orvin’s love of animals began while she was growing up in rural eastern North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from Campbell University where she also met her husband, a native of Moncks Corner, SC. She graduated from Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and has practiced small animal medicine since that time. In 2014, she moved back to Moncks Corner to be close to family and set down roots again. Dr. Orvin is a member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians. Dr. Orvin is also part of the inaugural class of Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarians.
When she’s not caring for pets, Dr. Orvin enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Carson, their two children, and the family’s Chow Chow, JD.
Dr Aubrey Gould
Dr. Aubrey Gould hails from Tampa, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2018 and her degree in veterinary medicine from Auburn University in 2022. Following veterinary school, Dr. Gould completed her small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona. In her free time, Dr. Gould enjoys going to the beach, baking, cheering on the Auburn Tigers, and spending time out on the water with friends, family, and her two pups, Kida and Kylo.
Carson Orvin, Practice Manager
Carson has been working behind the scenes since LCPH’s inception. He will officially take on the role as managing both the practice and aftercare services. Carson attended Campbell University where he received his BS in Biochemistry. He has worked in multiple fields as a chemist, high school science teacher and paramedic.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, and hiking in the NC mountains.
Samantha Biggs, CVA, FFCP
Born and raised in the lowcountry, Samantha has been working in the veterinary field since 2014. Before Samantha turned to veterinary medicine, she was in the world of AKC dog-shows for many years and fell in love with animals. This made her use her passion to help animals and landed her in the veterinary field. In 2017 she received her certification as a veterinary assistant. Her passion is Anesthesia and helping relieve the pain and suffering in animals. Samantha has many years of experience in surgery, inventory, and marketing. She is Fear Free Certified since 2018, to help keep your precious pet calm and comfortable during difficult times. She is enrolled in an AVMA credited college pursuing her Licensed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT).
When Samantha is out of the office, she is enjoying the lake life with her husband and son. She also enjoys reading books, Not only does she keep up with her son and husband, but she also has 2 canines (Skye, Whisper), and 3 felines (Ruger, Remi, and Berretta). She has a love for cats, especially orange ones.
